Migrating to the new Board might have been completed. I logged onto our Board and tried Yuku link to see if I could get onto our new Board
today. I was able to. I saw that the banner was the new My Horse and Me game so new that it had just happened. Well, it looks like it occured on the 6th. I
have posted a request to know if they are complete so I can notify everyone on our old Board that they can finally move over to the new one permanently.
There are so many new features (such as this blog that every member can activate and use) on this Board and I am still learning about them. I have found where I can change the banners for each forum. Unfortunately each of the forums is named by its url name instead of our community names. I have asked if there is a way to change them to our community names, but I am not confident that it can be done. I might have to take the time to create a spreadsheet with the community names listed on it. Then I will have to find the corresponding url names and list them next to the correct community name. What a drag. Well, if thats what I have to do, then so be it.
The new Live Chatroom has been recreated for this new migration. There is an Administrative option to display either the number of people in the Chatroom or the names of the people in the Chatroom. I think I will have it list the names. Out of curiosity, I have at times logged on just to see who was on, even though I did not have the time to chat. Now I can look and know who is in.
I like the calendar feature. Not only can there be community (i.e birthdays of all our members) calendars, but league (group) calendars as well. The league staff can post their schedule of events on them for their league members and others to view. I have created a couple league calendars, but have not figured out through the settings yet, how to add events to them.
I ran into a problem running the Greyhound Pro League races last night, utilizing the new league-only Race Builder. I have to get that sorted out tonight so I can finally get their Race Cards posted tomorrow along with the week 3 Schedule for Entry Submissions.
